59 Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade:

The 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk (59th OMPBr, military unit A1619, item B4050) is a military unit of motorized infantry troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a brigade size. The brigade is subordinate to the "South" operational command.

The brigade was formed already after the beginning of the Russian aggression, at the end of 2014. It included three battalions, which were also formed after the start of the war: the 9th, 10th and 11th motorized infantry, former territorial defense battalions.

The brigade bears an honorary name in honor of Yakov Handziuk, a Ukrainian military figure from the time of the First Liberation Struggle.
