Ukrainian Coin 5 Hryven 2025 "DIPLOMACY" Booklet

The commemorative coin is dedicated to diplomacy - one of the forms of realizing the interests of the state and the foreign political position of the state through dialogue, negotiations and ensuring a balanced balance between sovereign principles and political conditions. Diplomacy is an invisible process of power creation that will ensure the position of Ukraine in the global system of international relations, strengthening the assertion of sovereignty, security and international subjectivity. The Ukrainian diplomatic tradition has been shaped throughout the centuries - from Cossack embassies and Hetman universals to the current rich-vector diplomacy of an independent power, relying on the burden of political thought, Responsibility for sovereign decisions and status to strategic balance. The reverse of the coin symbolically depicts diplomacy as a kind of mystery of equality and mutuality. The intertwined lines at the top of the composition convey the complexity of international ligaments, as well as skin solutions - creating a synergy of dialogue, compromise and diversity of sides. Trikutnik visually reinforces the stability of the basis of diplomatic activity. The central element of the composition is the depiction of the signet of the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhya of 1648–1649, which reminds us of the historicity of the Ukrainian diplomatic tradition and its deep roots in the power-creating practices of the past.

The obverse of the coin features a stylized image of an olive branch – the oldest symbol of peace and good-neighborliness. Below the composition – the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the denomination of 5 with the graphic sign of the hryvnia, the inscription УКРАЇНА, the year of minting – 2025 and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
